Just wanted to throw this out there…A lot of professional camera installers will ask me why Hikvision & Dahua are NOT on this list, as many of them still use those 2 brands. Neither Hikvision or Dahua are NDAA compliant and are directly on the banned list, so that’s an automatic disqualification for me. When it comes to the professional grade level, NDAA compliance is a must in my eyes.
So, im hoping you reply to this.
I have been using the “wyze” cameras, i have basic needs. Monitoring my kids while im out at my job, i have live in nannies.
As of recently ive been having continuous issues with the wyze cam, and accessing the micro sd card video feed. Watching live is fine, talking through the camera is fine. But i try to access the storage card and 90% of the time it just says the video is unavailable. I have continuous recording on the cards, and i need to access the video to monitor the household, and it just doesnt work. And i need a camera system that i can have full access to this remotely and reliably.
Like i said 90 percent of the time it tells me its not available, i know it recorder it, and its there on the card, i just cant remotely access it.
Has cloud, works with the government, and has AI? Nope 👎
What about Lorex camera system from Costco?
What do you feel about Vivint?
